(A) Chair professors shall master world-leading technologies in integrated circuits and related interdisciplinary fields, have recognized global appeal or industry leadership in academia, and be able to organize and lead international top-notch teams to solve national strategic neck-breaking problems or major scientific and technological frontiers in related fiel

(B) Professors of special leading positions shall have the experience of presiding over international large-scale scientific research projects in related fields, have achieved academic (technical) results with outstanding impact, have significant influence in domestic and foreign academic circles or industrial fields, and can gradually form a global appeal and world leadership in their own fields. In principle, they shall have full senior professional and technical positions in international top universities (research institutions).

(C) Specially Appointed Professors for Young Leading Positions shall have achieved fruitful and excellent academic results in the relevant research fields, have the experience of presiding over important projects and have significant influence in the domestic and international academic circles or professional fields, and be able to establish an academic team within 3-5 years. In principle, they should have full senior professional and technical positions or meet the requirements for the appointment of full senior professional and technical positions in top universities in China.

(D) Specially-appointed associate professors shall have a great influence in domestic and foreign academic circles or related research fields, have the experience of hosting important scientific research projects, have achieved fruitful scientific research results and published several high-level papers (or authorized international patents). In principle, he/she shall have associate senior professional and technical positions in first-class universities or meet the requirements for appointment of associate senior professional and technical positions.

(E) Assistant professors (lecturers) shall have a good academic structure, have the experience of hosting scientific research projects in related fields and be able to independently carry out cutting-edge academic researches, achieve fruitful scientific research results and publish a number of high-level papers (or authorize international patents).

                                        Full-time Research Positions

(A) The Distinguished Research Fellows shall be mainly engaged in high-level scientific research, technology development and achievement transformation in the field of integrated circuits and related interdisciplinary fields, and shall have made a number of high-level scientific research achievements in original theoretical research or key core technology research in microelectronics and related interdisciplinary fields, or have outstanding experience and ability in the transformation and industrialization of scientific and technological achievements, and have created significant economic value. In principle, they should have the experience of hosting and undertaking major scientific research projects.

(B) Specially Appointed Associate Fellows are mainly engaged in high-level scientific research and technology development, and have the experience of engaging in major key scientific research projects in related fields and have achieved fruitful scientific research results, or have a number of successful cases of scientific and technological achievements transformation and industrialization. In principle, they should have postdoctoral research experience in top universities or experience in famous enterprises at home and abroad.

                                        Engineering Technology Post

(A) Senior engineers should have considerable industry recognition in the field of transformation of scientific and technological achievements, have achieved a number of representative results with outstanding impact, and be responsible for the implementation of scientific and technological achievement transformation projects to achieve breakthroughs in cutting-edge technologies, solve major engineering and technical problems, or create significant economic value.

(B) Senior engineers are mainly engaged in the transformation of scientific and technological achievements, have the experience of hosting or participating in major scientific and technological achievements transformation projects, have a number of authorized invention patents and other representative achievements, or are responsible for the implementation of scientific and technological achievements transformation projects to produce good results.
