Personal Profile:

Dr. Cristina is a dedicated researcher specializing in nanotechnology for biomedical applications. She is an expert in synthesizing various nanoparticles, for multimodal bioimaging and photothermal therapy for cancers, as well as diagnosis for infectious diseases. Now she is developing a series of point-of-care devices for rapid diagnosis based on oligonucleotide-functionalized AuNPs.

Research Direction:

Metallic nanoparticles (e.g. AuNPs, Fe2O3 NPs) for diagnosis and treatment of various diseases, including cancers and infectious diseases. Multimodal bioimaging. Photothermal therapy. Nucleic technology. In-vitro diagnosis.
