The I-Teams (Innovation Teams) team was initiated by Academician Benoit Dubius, President of the Swiss Academy of Engineering and Professor at the University of Geneva, and is dedicated to interdisciplinary collaboration, technology translation and startup incubation. The team brings together experts and students from different fields such as science, engineering, business and law, and focuses on transforming laboratory innovations into viable business projects or social solutions. The iTeams team of the University of Geneva and the Sino-Swiss Institute of Advanced Technology (SIAT) of the University of Shanghai have established a long-term partnership to explore a highly effective cooperation model of “market research + technology development and validation”, centered on the market transformation of cutting-edge technologies. Both sides will play to their respective strengths and jointly promote the realization of scientific and technological innovations.
