Shanghai University successfully hosted the 2024 International Industry-University-Research Cooperation Conference on Intelligent Sensing Chip Technology Branch and the 14 th Shanghai Integrated Circuit ' Master Lecture '.

On November 20,2024, the International Industry-University-Research-Use Cooperation Conference Branch of the Ministry of Education was grandly opened at Shanghai University. Experts and scholars from universities, scientific research institutes, enterprises and medical institutions from China, Switzerland, Spain, Japan and other countries gathered together to conduct in-depth exchanges on the latest technological achievements and future development trends in the field of intelligent sensing chip technology. It has built a high-end cooperation platform for promoting multidisciplinary integration, accelerating the transformation of scientific and technological achievements and promoting industrial upgrading.

Sponsored by Shanghai University, this conference focuses on the broad application prospects of intelligent sensing chip technology in the field of life health and high-end manufacturing. The host of the venue, Sino-Swiss Advanced Technology Research Institute of Shanghai University, is jointly built by Shanghai University and the academician team of Benoà ® t Dubuis, President of the Swiss Academy of Engineering. It is committed to creating an international innovation platform for global cutting-edge technology needs and people 's life and health through the deep integration of integrated circuits, biomedicine and artificial intelligence. With intelligent sensing chips as the core, the research institute focuses on the fields of health detection, disease diagnosis and flexible electronic materials, and is committed to the whole chain innovation from basic research to industrial application. The opening ceremony of the meeting was presided over by Professor Zhang Jianhua, Vice-President of Shanghai University. During the conference, Professor Jiang Zhuangde, an academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering, was formally appointed by Shanghai University as a member of the International Advisory Committee of China-Swiss Institute of Advanced Technology. Academician Jiang Zhuangde has been engaged in the research of micro-nano manufacturing and advanced sensing technology, precision ultra-precision machining and testing technology and equipment for a long time, and has achieved a number of outstanding results. In July this year, the first Sino-Swiss Academy of Engineering Innovation Forum was successfully held in Zurich, Switzerland, which laid a solid foundation for the cooperation between scientific research and industry in China and Switzerland. It is believed that under the impetus of Academician Dubey and Academician Jiang Zhuangde, the research institute will build an important bridge for the two countries to form closer scientific research innovation and talent training cooperation in intelligent sensing technology and related fields.

The project takes the international joint training mode as the core, and focuses on cultivating compound high-end talents with global vision and strong practical ability by providing students with cross-cultural academic guidance and industrial practice opportunities. It is worth mentioning that the School of Microelectronics, relying on the Shanghai Institute of Microelectronics Industry and the School of Excellent Engineers, focuses on the fields of intelligent perception, beyond Moore 's integrated circuits and medical chips, and specifically invites the participation of medical institutions and industry mentors. By strengthening internship practice, it helps students improve their practical ability and solve complex problems in a real industrial environment. The keynote report and symposium of the conference covered the fields of digital medicine, cancer diagnosis, biochip technology and flexible electronic devices. The 13 experts and scholars at the conference focused on the value of intelligent sensing chip technology in promoting interdisciplinary and industrial transformation. Among them, with the title of " Digital Patient : Transforming Health Care, " Academician Bennua Duby, President of the Swiss Academy of Engineering, discussed how digital technology subverts traditional medical models, from patient monitoring to personalized treatment, and comprehensively demonstrates the broad prospects of intelligent sensing technology in precision medicine. Professor Charles Lorry of the University of Spaak, Spain, focused on the research frontiers of cancer biomarkers, diagnostic equipment and biochips, deeply analyzed the challenges and opportunities of these technologies in the early diagnosis and treatment of cancer, and emphasized the key role of interdisciplinary cooperation in overcoming medical problems. Professor Chen Chang 's report from the Institute of Medical Chips, Ruijin Hospital, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, systematically explained the practical achievements and future directions of chip technology in the field of life and health, including the potential application value of intelligent sensing chips in cardiovascular monitoring and cancer diagnosis, and provided new ideas for promoting the miniaturization and intelligence of medical devices. From the perspective of communication field, Professor Hashimoto of University of Electronic Science and Technology of China analyzed the technical characteristics of surface and bulk acoustic wave devices and their importance in high-precision sensing, and emphasized the core position of intelligent sensing technology in the next generation of communication equipment.
