He stated that the Sino-Swiss Institute of Advanced Technology at Shanghai University, focusing on interdisciplinary research and the transformation of achievements in biomedicine and integrated circuits, is an important measure to deeply align with the country's major strategies and a good model for conducting international scientific research cooperation.

On July 23rd, Wan Gang, Chairman of the China Association for Science and Technology (CAST), met with Prof. Dubuis and his delegation. He expressed the hope that both sides will work together in the future to actively promote in-depth exchanges and dialogue between engineers and young scientists from China and Switzerland. They aim to jointly advance technology innovation with a "people-centered" approach, enhancing the common well-being of the people of both countries and all of humanity.

In the afternoon, Prof. Dubuis and his delegation also visited the Chinese Academy of Engineering and held talks with President Li Xiaohong and Vice President Wang Chen on further advancing the cooperation between the two countries' engineering academies. The two sides had already hosted the first Sino-Swiss Engineering Academy Innovation Forum in Switzerland in July of this year and signed a memorandum of cooperation. This meeting laid the foundation for subsequent substantive collaboration.

On July 24th, Huai Jinpeng, the Minister of Education, met with Prof. Dubuis and his delegation.
